i started at 1 by Charlie Morganin 1945 i was 0;
a number it took
the Egyptians to invent.
and it was like yesterday;
just 1275 b.c.
but by 30,000 b.c., paleolithic people
had already invented the 1. missed the zero.
Egyptians called it sunya: empty.
numerology is stacked on empty.

| Posted by Maude Curtis on 06/17/09 at 12:32 PM Oh Chaz. What are numbers anyway. Just a way of measuring time. If I could invent a unit of time it would be the number of heartbeats that you have when you're with the ones you love. Like Kai and the number of times he giggles when he's with you, or my babies and the number of hugs and kisses I can get before they say Bye-Bye. Keep counting my friend. That's what gets us though the day. |
