Just Different

by Joe Cramer

A different day, another way
To savor this life.
The moon softly glows
In early evening's sky.
This cool eve brings reprieve.
A different day to say
How these feelings emote.
It's a poem I wrote
Long, long ago.
Far away in a distant land,
Somehow, I knew you'd understand.
It's always so different
Just being alive,
Though I still want to hide
From the days of my life.
My brain is never the same.
A different day, another way
To share feelings, in this life.

Author's Note: ... I have writen poetry forever, I would write something and stick the poem in a book I was reading at the time. I have recently started reading books that I read twenty or thirty years ago.... and out pops a poem or two (or a dozen) that I wrote way back then. This poem is about that....
