The Difference Between Night And Day by JJ JohnsonHypnotized by a vision seen
A lipstick smile; sharp and wicked mean
Dark shadowed gaze connects eye to eye
Lips teasing an unspoken lie
Amorous scent blown through the air
Aroused her warm erotic glands
A soft massage designed to soothe
She gently melted in my hands
Off on a slow walk through the park
The air was cool, the night was dark
Holding more than hands felt good
Feeling everything we could
Pausing to lie on the lithe ground
Naked alone, no one came near
All we heard was a passionate sound
What a beautiful sound to hear
Our peace disturbed by the breaking dawn
The sky was light pink and blue
There we lay on the soft green lawn
Glistening with morning dew
We went to my place and shared a bath
I said she was welcome to stay
I'd hoped to travel a common path
But she went her separate way
Her dark eyes hide a smoldering fire
Making even cold hearts burn with desire
Ever hoping to satisfy her
Ever failing to satisfy her 11/01/1986 Author's Note: When compiling the poems for my next book, Passion And Pain, I decided to edit this poem together with another similar poem and cut out the smut. I'm reposting it because it seems like an entirely new poem to me now. It's still a little on the risque side, but not nearly as naughty as it was. I like it better this way. JJ
