stress

by Charlie Morgan

my stress test is tomorrow;
why is that?
my stress is years old, so
why you gonna test them now.

and are ya'll gonna check one stress,
like losing on the Wheel? or all?
Can I have a B please, Pat?
now that's stress.

so i'm gonna write a note to the doc.
please do not allow any stress test
to be done on this man, he has enough.
and sign it: My Mom, who is living with Jesus.

Charlie, I really like the ending of this poem.And try not to stress over the stress test....I have a hunch you will pass...for you are needed too much by your little K and he will keep you fit.

how do you study for that kind of test? I don't think flashcards will help! I love the ending, but am pretty sure you're not going to get out of it that easily! Good luck :)

Aw Chaz... My prayers are with and for you to be found stress free and all manner of damage free from stress too. The fact that my prayers for you are originating from a hospital room of my own, of a two day duration (so far) will add a certain.. ahem.. insistence, I hope. I hope and pray you are Okee Dokee, my friend.
