Against the Proverbial Wall

I am constantly amazed at the opportunity
To watch in constant and continual incredulity
As to what is to become of me, eventually.
I pound my fist against the proverbial wall
Watching my life loom largely, shrinking small.
I still wonder if I should just make the call
