women, woman, whoa man!

by Nanette Bellman

who the hell do you think you are
and what makes you think
that you have the right
to make someone
and by someone, i mean me,
feel like i shouldn't be doing this.
that i shouldn't be standing at this line
and envisioning your face as the bullseye.

i don't care how good you are
or how you don't like women
and how this isn't the place for them.

because when it comes to places,
i won't hesitate to put you in yours.

You wrap things up so shockpunch perfect in your writing. I know when I come in to read you, I am always feeling great about something well put. On this one, when it comes to places -I wish I had your quick mind in my pocket in circumstances so so so like the poem depicts. Tre bien x 10!

Ever notice how "time of my life" plays at the end of dirt dancing? Well the setting is summer of 1963 but that song came out in 87. Anyway you tell em' nan. :)

This rocks! Very to the point and serious, yet sassy at the same time...love it.
