he took my part-time lover/full-time friend
to the bathroom with him,
which is universally known
to be something only girls do.

standing side by side at a urinal
he says,

"man, i really have no interest in her...
and i feel bad because she seems to follow me around...
i'm just not into her..."


forgetting that bathrooms are like Vegas,
what goes on in there, stays in there,
or that rule doesn't apply to guys,
the next day my friend
tells me what was said,

"he doesn't like you.
anthony doesn't like you
and has no interest in you."


i giggled.

"mmmh, that's funny
because when i was riding with him last night,
he told me he's single,
not looking to shack up with anyone,
but wanted to know when i was available..."
