We just watched movies together.

by Johnny Crimson

The spaces in between
the bricks fill with blood
as I walk backwards down the
corridor.
Only to turn around and stare
quite contently at a red world of liquid
snakes dancing in a firm soil road map.

It's a trade off of hard v.s. soft and
I know that there can never be equilibrium
on the ground.,
for we must leave this force that's
pressing harshly upon us forcing
our hearts to rotate faster than biology
had ever forecast.

So we suck the oil of the planet
through our lungs as the sun beams down
and white-washes our souls like the faded coke signs
of the south and my tongue lashes out at the
world, unleashed and feverishly snapping at
anyone with a pulse.

I'm then haunted by the smell of
our bodies in the rain, the way
I ran to you from behind the bushes
and we collided with bottled passion.

And as you repeated your affection into
my ear and kissed my neck and told me of
how glad you were that I was finally home,
I couldn't help but glance at the taillights of the Italian
bitch who dropped me off at your place and
whom I had just fucked in her basement 15 minutes ago.

this isn't your typical style. i mean it is, but there is something different about this piece, something special that i can't my finger on, nor any other part of my body.
