pounce by Emily Davidsonthe cat
is sly and stealthy
her eyes on every
possible predator
she is always on the defense
behind her meditative serenity
take something
that belongs to a cat
and she will not howl
or plead for it back
she will simply put out her claws
and pounce 05/01/2009 Author's Note: (i'm possessive, if you haven't noticed)

Posted by Jody Pratt on 05/29/12 at 02:28 PM I love cats. Some people tell me they hate cats, and I think they are just jealous of the cats superiority over them. :) |
