Old Man, Look at My Life

by Tony Whitaker

Like
New fallen leaves,
The soft crackle of memories
Masks a hidden path
In an old growth forest
Where dreams of you still snake
Through these time-tested trees of my
Life

How we do tend to grow like we know and this tie to a time tested tune with such beauty and lines is excellent. smh
