Where You Are

by Joan Serratelli

I know
where you are
I can feel it

I know
what you're doing
I can picture it

But what
I don't understand
is why you're
hiding from me
when you know
that I need
to talk to you

You know
where I am
you can feel it

You know
what I'm doing
you always do

You can
contact me
whenever
the mood strikes you
but somehow
you hardly ever do

I miss you
you know that
and yet
you chose
to stay away

Your longing and desire are wonderfully stated here, nice job. Thanks.

I can see you standing alone saying these few simple words, each one so truly meant, the whole is really wonderfull Joan. Nice one....

More than a want, this piece perfectly displays that need that is deep within.
