we are stuff of the stars

by Charlie Morgan

a three foot high energy spot grabs meleg;
i absorb the wave and settle into being hit.

a tilted node on the shoulders, cheeks my leg.
'paPaw, paPaw'...no becomes yes. down, up.

planets hurry to align themselves with me;
see my treasure trove dangles of glory.

and look winsomely, i turn. embarrased.
why am i more blessed than the planets?

he, we are the Universe, the stars
belong to us, are for us. are us.

Sounds good to me. Beautiful closer, man. Just great.

So nice. Love it when you write about your boy.

in deed...the planets, stars and sun all revolve around him and you. how wonderful to be center of your universe.

he should only realize just how much he means to you! He's very lucky to have you and I hope he knows that he is the center of your very being! LOVED IT!

Ah, this is wonderful...and it makes me think of that line in Joni Mitchell's "Woodstock" song: "We are stardust, we are golden And we got to get ourselves back to the garden." And....isn't is just awesome knowing the joys of being a grandparent? I could relate so well and my husband is a lot like you, he loves being a granddaddy....he is their loving human playground.:)
