Living backwards by Joe CramerYou look, you touch, you feel,
It all seems so real
Until the truth arrives,
Then you run and hide.
This is the life we live,
The choices we give
Ourselves and so many more,
Trying to keep life from being a bore.
Who could ask for anything else,
Than to see your life upon a shelf?
You smell, you taste, you sense
Living backwards, in past tense.
Wondering how it lies inbetween,
Life is not always as it seems.
Again, with all of these choices
Did you hear all of the voices
That are in your head?
There is a morbid sense of dread.
So, where do we all begin?
Who's here, there, out or in?
You look, you touch, you feel
Searching for the life surreal. 04/20/2009 Author's Note: ... this is life, as I know it....
