Quietly anger by A. Paige White
" 'Til the rain comes tumblin' down"
To wash away that quiet anger
Finer but less defining a value system
and sulking can't speak its danger
clarity between the two
a rule of broken rule
like rightness in right action
will recover what is left
and of words bereft
tiny blooms come tumblin' down
just then, until, comes the rain
where April's healing may be found.

"where April's healing may be found."
Beautiful.

| Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 04/20/09 at 02:42 PM You definitely knew what to do with the rain imagery. It's old territory and tough to get something new and interesting out of, but I think you managed quite nicely. |
