Sonnet of Spring by Joe CramerSo very sweetly now, spring comes calling.
Winter departed, without a warning.
Magnificient flowers bloom where birds sing
Of tranquility abounding in spring.
Winter's brisk frosty breath is now long past
Though the bleak cold felt as if it would last
For all of time, throughout eternity.
With the suns warmth comes a freshness so free
As the bright orb quickly warms the golden day.
White clouds scatter, scurry out of the way.
Each morning brings with it promise anew
With the wet blanket of sweet morning dew.
And now, with Spring, all else is memory.
Time slowly passes, this is the time to be. 04/18/2009 Posted on 04/18/2009 Copyright © 2025 Joe Cramer
