Heroine

by Maria Terezia Ferencz

something make him stop

something made him start
put him on her list
balanced on his lips
her precipice of kiss
too beautiful she is
too dangerous for love

Yet he does

drawn again he is
her precipice of lips
too beautiful to resist
how calming to him she is
yet he is not

Once and always missed
this love she'll never give
his wish a wish her wish
sweet precipice of bliss
so dangerous it is

yet he does

something made him stop
but not for long
enough
drawn again he was
her precipice is his
drawn to the brink of bliss

return he never does

There is superb flow in this. Repeated rhymes are are well placed, not forced and full of emotive images. Nice. Thanks.
