discovering life by Charlie Morganpunch all the buttons
on the elevator of life;
and sail-by the lot of them.
go to the Penthouse, whatever
floor you pass is not it;
like the Buddhists' say:
should you pass Buddha on the road,
slay him for he is not the true One.
when the door opens, scan around;
if you feel right, like it's the Penthouse,
then it is not; if it feels wrong, it's right.
upward, higher, excelsior your motto;
excellence should be your aim. 04/14/2009 Posted on 04/14/2009 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Clara Mae Gregory on 04/14/09 at 06:06 PM Very interesting analogies. Upon first reading, it didn't seem to ring true...but then I REALIZED that it is quite true if you are riding on that elevator.This one feels so right, it can not be wrong. *smile* |
| Posted by George Hoerner on 04/14/09 at 07:05 PM Ah the inconsistences of life! and death! Up is down, left is right, and nowhere takes you everywhere. Another good one sir or was that bad. I get so confused sometimes always. |
