Thinking back, the food chain
occasionally isn’t intuitive.
You’d think that the big, hulking beasts
would be on top, preying on the slow
and the weak. But we’ve discovered that,
in this instance, it’s not the case.
The herds of small, frail creatures have
somehow, come out on top. In this ecology,
this urban jungle,
pedestrians roam supreme,
occasionally ganging up to
take down a car,
oil splattering everywhere.
