Journeyman's Map by Jessica A Steenbockthe problem may be that
there lays a great space
between us that is void of
wanted information.
there are things we do not know
and are unwilling to ask,
yet we yearn to learn of all the things
that you should know about
your lover.
there are still caverns to discover
and bridges that have not been crossed
my friend. we have not been down
every road. there are still the
recesses of my mind i have not
explored.
but you see, i can't love anyone but you;
i can't hurt for, ache for, want
anyone but you.
so i will draw you a map today,
and illustrate all my twists and turns
and then maybe,
you'll feel secure in your journey to me.
