Rainbow by Joe CramerIn her pocket lies a rainbow
Colors so very bright and bold.
To her pocket she will go
When she feels so tired, or old.
The world is colored by her rainbow,
Shades of a hue never known.
She watches the colors bend, flow
As her time passes, she has grown.
Picking up these colors, she hums a tune
Dancing tightly in the day.
The end will come, far too soon,
And her rainbow too, will go away. 04/02/2009 Author's Note: ... while recently watching a mime on Bourbon Street.....
