In Spring

by Keith D Allison

When the Warmth
has touch the flower
The grass has began to grow
the seeds of life
spring forth once more

But in a moment
Blizzard winds
bringing
the silent cold

there's danger
in the spring
in search for love
the want
for warmth
for
the body can grow cold
giving up its life
as it laids in the snow

Don't get lost
in the blinding winds
they'll take your heart
caressing it
in soft white glow
freezing your soul

beautiful
that
spring… flower
laying beneath the snow
may it
may it
find it way
in the sun’s
glow

Keith, I like where you go with this...danger does lurk, and we must be serious about our looking, I often feel there's no time to waste, but I must seek with a care-filled heart. Delighted. Thanks.
