Game On [dream-speak]

by Laura Doom

In the dream [DeathWish III]
I am engaged in conversation [combat]
with a pathologically nice person [angel]

My attitude [strategy]
is epitomised by suicidal honesty [devil's advocacy]
an approach designed to unbalance [destroy]
my partner in discourse [nemesis]

The outcome is inevitable [fixed]
and I thrive on the guilt [awesome...next level, O Mighty Misanthrope?]

In the reality of wakefulness [hell]
the terminally pleasant are compassionate [disarming]
to the point of suicide [selflessness]
whilst the suicidally honest [turgid]
are pathologically deluded [full of shit]

I am yet to wake [dream on]

Me: knowing full well that your writing cliffhangs so elegantly above everything else I previously thought was writing writing (imo), i wonder how it is that in every turn of reading this - came complete understanding (in every sense possible...
