Softer than silk
Sharper than blades
Noises whispering in the winds
Words cut deepest when you cared

Great poem, dude. I saw that we have the same birthday, so I thought I would stop by and check out your stuff.

We tend to care when someone cares about us, making hearing the words meaningful. This is sort of liberating, as if the scars from such cuts might be healing, like the words are becoming like gnats, or phantom itches.
