Never knowing by Keith D AllisonReaching for the moment
that breath of a second
never knowing
that it cannot… be found
Between the continents
the seventh rising of the moon
the Mountain rise is beneath me
riding the wind
Hear the billow of the sail
the crashing of the wave
feel the adrenaline
as the stars hideaway
now landlocked
the withering of the age
Time passes too quickly
in a dying sea
The rain drops fall
the gray clouds hanging
never knowing
the grandchild smile 03/22/2009 Posted on 03/23/2009 Copyright © 2024 Keith D Allison
