Never knowing

by Keith D Allison

Reaching for the moment
that breath of a second
never knowing
that it cannot… be found

Between the continents
the seventh rising of the moon
the Mountain rise is beneath me
riding the wind

Hear the billow of the sail
the crashing of the wave
feel the adrenaline
as the stars hideaway

now landlocked
the withering of the age
Time passes too quickly
in a dying sea

The rain drops fall
the gray clouds hanging
never knowing
the grandchild smile

...keith, well written. leaves the reader in a good, albeit an altered state of having/being a grandson...woo woo.

This is an excerpt of life luring you in to experience all the more. Nicely done.
