To never hold you again

To have my heart lost in time
I could never love another as you
My life would be over as my heart is not mine
To never hold you again
My life held by a thought
Remembering what I had
Knowing what I lost
To go through life without your heart
As knowing what once was mine
A heart I broke, a trust I lost
It would be the end of time
