Love? It's in the details (w/ Anita Mac Auslan) by Morgan D HafeleHe attacked her heart
with scouring powder
because it seemed... only fitting.
His breath was hollow;
lungs disintegrating from use
fold in on themselves.
She turns him on.
And when she told him nothing
could hurt her,
he said he couldn't bleed
and his attack began
He thought maybe once she was
pure and clean and raw
she'd finally See him
and all his Good Intentions.
He had dreams of her
ripping at her own face, nails buried
deep in empty eye sockets
blisters over her breasts.
He wanted to feel her
when she fell and wait for
Numbness to take over.
It didn't quite work out that way,
a heart being what it is. 03/19/2009 Author's Note: Anita is definitely the brains behind this piece, i was just kind of there staring blankly at the computer, but she said i could put my name on it too.

"His breath was hollow;
lungs disintegrating from use
fold in on themselves."
reminds me of a dying flower |
