On Maintaining an Air of Mystery by Mainon A SchwartzI didn't want our meaning to rest on novelty.
Not like one of those books you toss when someone spoils the ending.
I want to be one of those favorite movies that I watch, over and over,
that never gets boring, even though I can recite the dialogue myself --
even when I know everything that's coming, every word that will be said,
I love it.
I didn't want our relationship to depend on you
never seeing me for what I am. 03/19/2009 Author's Note: This needs work. It's just a poorly expressed germ of an idea, but hopefully it'll get there.

Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 03/19/09 at 07:26 PM Pretty simple. Heh. Nicely put. |
Posted by George Hoerner on 08/09/18 at 04:32 PM I would hope it to be just the opposite. I'd like someone to understand my whole soul and still love. Regardless of how whet you find. |
