Posted by Genevieve Sturrock on 03/19/09 at 02:06 PM i agree that love/hate can reside in the heart at the same time. they are extremes of the same emotion, but not opposites. i like the back and forthing in this one. in short lines you paint a vivid emotional picture.

Posted by Laurie Blum on 03/19/09 at 10:38 PM This is so true of many relationships! I felt like picking the petals off a daisy... loves me! loves me not! I enjoyed this one.

Posted by Razel Davies on 03/22/09 at 06:03 PM I've never seen hate as an opposite of love. Rather, i see hate as a component of love. To me, you can only feel true hate for someone if you love them. As only a caring as deep as love can cause the pain needed to hate. But love is the more important of the two.
