the harvest by Kathleen Wilsonwe plant in rows
expect a harvest
what's the difference
uneven sheen
calligraphy on eggshells
grape leaves break
out the dark stalk each year breath relief another
same
apple grown from core plum is plum
avocado avocado
it's random snatches
we forget
turtle snap selves
dragonfly fishers
ripped quilt snag
that's where
we see through it
built out of it
we take it
all made
of unexpected
harvest
