I Count

something
anything at all
I find myself counting
1-2-3-4....
I eat
something
anything at all
I find myself counting
the bites
1-2-3-4.....
I drink
something
anything at all
I find myself counting
1-2-3-4.....
And when I lay down
and try to sleep
I find myself counting
1-2-3-4....
until I'm asleep
I wake up
a few hours later
it begins again
the counting
1-2-3-4....
until I'm back
to sleep<
I wake up
take a shower
and even there
the counting begins
1-2-3-4.....
That's my life
in a nutshell
I count
something
everything
all day long
