The Raven's Battle (Part 1)

by Razel Davies

Through the stars,
His power soars.
The night sky,
The Raven ignites.
His steal wielded,
In hero’s hand.
His death strike,
To evil’s heart.

This final battle,
Hope’s last chance.
Raven’s blood,
Pumping loud.
Eyes meet,
Dark and light.
Our warrior swift,
Takes a blow.
Cut deep,
With pain to flow.
His step now weak,
His glance low.

The teeth of the nemesis,
Wide and shine.
His sharp tongue lash,
Slash and end.
The saviour near death,
Groans his last.
Hope forever gone,
Spite and smile,
Of evil’s face.
