Rhinestone Cowboys by Charlie Morganmere stones from the Rhine;
adopted as trinkets.
were borne in the Middle Ages
at the invention of the mirror.
mankind was fooled instantly.
upon this he saw himself;
or so, he thought.
with that notion in mind
he thinks he's made God-like;
and so, in His image.
his own selfish gene reacting
to its mirror image as though
the image is real.
fooled. again. 03/05/2009 Posted on 03/05/2009 Copyright © 2026 Charlie Morgan

| Posted by Alison McKenzie on 03/05/09 at 06:53 PM Hehe. I don't like mirrors. They just show me how I look backwards. And my face is asymmetrical, so I'm sure I really have no idea how I really look to folks anyway...LOL |
