Another phone call

To someone new

I know what to say

What to do

And yet somehow

It never works out.

Still yet, I call

Sharing a moment

Or two, perhaps a laugh,

Despite any gaff,

I never relent.

So here it is, y'all

I want to shout

At the why and the how.
