Feather Light and Float

by Alison McKenzie

I, the last breath escaping,
Soar to eternity’s bliss
On faerie wings of dragon myth.

I, once grounded here by lover’s grasp,
Slip away to spectre,
Invisible to men.

I, goslings grown and going
Catch a chimed wind,
A southerly flow to freedom.

I, feather light and float,
Whisper distant poetry
On the shores of immortal.

...ali, may be a pronouncement, rather a bon voyage as you turn into Light, like Rumi says and burn, your words are so drenchingly carryable, weighty but of essence, i see you "writing" away into the ephemery...in English, 'you're [unknowingly] awaiting discovery. don't forget us lil' peeps.

Ah yes, what were words "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose." Good write and good luck.
