All the world around
surrounds in the love
long gone.

When fantasy and reality
seem to slip and fall
at the edge of a blade.

Ironically I struggle
with the answer to a question
I know obviously to well,
and Akram's theory seems
to hold more water then
the facts.

I drag my nails as her
memories linger with
her red and cherry doe
eyes glare and smile
like broken tragedies.

So I have loved and
denied love,
but so have I given
and taken love away.

In the end I will
become all that I am
and trust no one
but my own.

For love and fate
has bound me for a while,
and I am gone with the
wisdom that I so
frugally try to conflict
against.
