Lefty Lucy

by Johnny Crimson

Tether ball lay in the rain
unnoticed by the ravaging day-ternal eyes of the hungry.
Aspirin line the sidewalks
as the small child sews golden stars
to school uniforms in the silent night of glass.

Enter the cold tunnel
of confusion
and watch
the death trains ride by.
"Hey I know where that is,
it's right by my house."

As you place your bullets on
the track
the "different ones" are headed to hell.

I hope someone will be my forest wife.

I think everything ever written should all be a
jumbled mess.

I think that holocaust should be pronounced "hollow-cause"
