february twenty-fifth

by Ava Blu

my cheeks were wind-burned,
wind-kissed
yet never too cold;

i remember thinking(feeling)
my cheeks continuing to blush
when we'd touch.

I love the wind-burned image. Both of these stanzas are perfec, the first one capturing the scene and the second giving us a snapshot of your thoughts. Wonderful.

I, too, love the images here. Gotta love the second stanza. I alsoo liked the color- pink (just like a blush)

...talk about simplicity...i, too, like the gabester can see "that" wind and your cheek...love the parenthesis on thinking/feeling. the two are so closely entwined we don't know when we are doing which, eh?...
