Feb. 10 - Colorado [fragment]

by Jason Wardell

I never get used to this weather.
Colorado: high-hanging clouds
and wet snow, dusty roads and
tornadoes.  Late winter.  I never
get used to the Sun appearing
nor rain nor wind nor ice.
I never get used to change.

Author's Note: It's catch-up time. I'm catching up on frustration.

Alright, having grown up in Colorado I had to give this poem a glance, and you definitely summed up the weather. I never got used to the change either though now having moved so many times I've learned that there is something to appreciate about the abundant sunlight there, even if it seems to be snowing and cold at the same time that it seems so bright. Good work.
