i'll be looking up

by Charlie Morgan

putting on the smile i wore yesterday,
i paste it on, to no one's notice.

inside i feel like Batman's Riddler;
i'm worthy of a chase to smile about.

catch me, tickle me and i'll laugh,
a gut-wrenching, belly-shaking laugh;

cavorting, but only with you.

if my smile get's crooked, straighten it
for me as i only have few remaining left.

then there will be the time thingee occur;
leaving me with my only smile, i offer it

up from my open casket--forever!

"inside i feel like Batman's Riddler; i'm worthy of a chase to smile about."--Great line. Your usual awesome word play is pretty evident here.
