SplatterWorld

by Johnny Crimson

I've never tried
to divide
on my own.
Mainly due to
my fear of numbers.
And when I cross
the street
I stick close to my mother,
sometimes she holds my hand.
Everyday I see the world
laid out like comic book pages,
all the colorful people
with bubbles around their
heads.
And I can't hear them, but
I do read the bubbles.
Once I saw Mommy in the
closet with a superhero,
POOLMAN.
He had no bubble, and hers
said "AHHH UGGHHH AHHH"
I don't want to see in comics
anymore.
