Feb. 8 - "So there I was, right?" by Jason WardellSo there I was,
two sentences deep
in some joke or story.
Maybe I was quoting
someone or something
I'd recently seen:
I'm the livingroom barker,
and you can't live one more second
without the wit and humor
of this guy I've heard,
When all of a sudden
I ask myself,
"What is the deal
with creativity?"
Nodding my head
and laughing it off
are all I have.
Three stereotypes walk
into a bar,
ask the bartender,
"Where'd you get that
keen observational eye?
It's just so darn impressive!"
"Funny story. . ." 02/08/2009 Author's Note: Technically Feb. 9. I have this problem in many genres.
