Feb. 4 - A Treatise on Strikeouts

by Jason Wardell

It's the story of my life:
I can't put up with the sneezing,
you can't put up with the tissues.

I could pour out a gallon of ink
in revisions alone
and not be any closer
to what the hell I mean.

I couldn't have put it better myself. Anyone who hasn't been to that place isn't writing enough. Well said.

that's why i gave up writing on paper. it's too much work, too much stress, too intimidating.

Found this in random member favorites. I'm so definitely going through your library now, because the only two poems I've read of yours so far have both found their way into my own favorites list.
