green by Charlie Morganall is green. some with envy, some with ivy.
the sap only slows, ebbs toward Newton
only to turn and go up toward the Heavens
upon the warmth and lightness of Spring.
the Sun cajoles and invites buds to open, play.
a uniformity of a doppleganger world;
moments in time, a pinch in the lattice-work
of space-time; a touch with what counts.
ice, snow, lava, warm springs, cool ones too;
villages built, razed, societies do the same.
i have sunshine rays in my jeans' pocket.
my dog raises his leg to own a corner.
