Computer Science 101 by Vikki OwensPaper is obsolete.
I write all my love notes
in machinery.
Are you reading between the lines?
In the flip of an on and off,
in the fibers of electricity
that spell out
an I-love-you-but-my-heart-is-bleeding
are you understanding?
Is there enough space between the ones and zeros
to speak of my need for your touch?
Can you see into the capacitors and resistors
and feel the tears?
The circuits, are they carrying my heart to you
on the soldered golden wires? 02/01/2009 Posted on 02/01/2009 Copyright © 2024 Vikki Owens

Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 02/01/09 at 05:34 PM I disagree with you on that first stanza, but I won't argue with is great this is. |
Posted by George Hoerner on 02/01/09 at 07:36 PM Cute Vikki, just remember to make a backup, you never now what those electrons will do if they feel left out. |
Posted by Jo Halliday on 05/11/09 at 01:44 AM Frankly, I don't get it. Is it a dry and wry comment, or is it an uncharitable remark on a medium that I don't see any wrong with? The resistors and capacitors are really beautiful to me, the former so nutty and the latter so foolishly bulgy and looking at the world as if they are very happy. I don't see paper obsolete. And I don't see why I can't understand something online? |
