Wander

by David Neubauer

The shy smile creeps across my face,
but I don't even know you
yet.
We live in a world of radiation,
particles dancing, pixels entangled.
Who needs the tactile gratification?
We've got the visual, the diction,
and the imagination to
make it mean something.
We live in a world, barren
devoid of others,
uncertain what exactly is real.
But still i hope,
fondly
that you're even half
as wonderful as
I've made you out to be.

I've had hope like that myself. It's amazing, the energy it can give you. Nice write, and really nicely stated.
