Chant of a Mad Woman by Alisa JsIt was in the center of May
The beginning of summer
When the dew dropped and ran away dying,
Summertime blues had no standing here
In paradise,
Or so I thought
Maybe wished
For naught
We get tired of hearing the same old bickering
When theres so much more to life than complaining
Whining about pennies when you have everything
And still nothing seems to satisfy,
Leftover smiles mean nothing for any one
What kind of rubbish is that to a starving man?
How does one break through the gluttony of me, first
At the expense of all that radiates pain
Blow torching madness with words
Somehow the sun refused to shine that day
The moon ran with the news
Stars in the sky strained for cover
All is lost without reasons
Chasing keys for the answer
Without proper locks to turn
Is a soft heart a doormat for those full of contempt
Layering caustic sneers intended to burn,
Callous and jeering, what good does that do?
Lacking consideration completely
Vicious smacks are never the answer, no matter what
This kind of nonsense feeds deep depression
Fueling maddening rage
Tossing careless remarks just because you can
Leaves residual scarring for decades,
Why waste your breath
What are you trying?
Wont that only serve to distance and discourage,
What kind of fool keeps on believing
When the blood spatter stares back
In ones torn and ravaged space
