Vignette 41 by Roger J Kenyon
On a Victorian backdrop
framed lopes a dog with
a red bandanna dotted
under a tagged collar
hooked to a glitzy lead
beside a spandex couple
clad in pink and black
wheeling bikes shiny
bikes matched.
And from noisy ears to
hip nodes run insect
feelers in the warm breeze
wave.
Up a gentle sun splayed
hill on a Victorian
backdrop framed.

Author's Note: I got grabbed by the shirt one afternoon by this glimpse.

Was my favorite part of the imagery. The pink and black spandex stretched my eyes wide.
