Author's Note: #13 of new year haiku. This one is for another dear friend. We had a haiku party at another friend's house last Sunday, and each of us brought a new year "haiga" to share. This one is in answer to hers. By the way "haiga" is a Japanese poetic/art form of combining haiku with an art piece. What really makes it "haiga" is the tangential quality of the relationship between the art and poem. Last year I was making poems, and art work, mostly illustrative, as a greeting I deepened by learning and experience of haiku in this. This year I am beginning to understand "haiga" and I intend to progressively grow in this. Hopefully you will see some development.

Again, you're entirely too awesome at these.
