Is Love Biodegradable?

by Melissa Panther

Is love organic
or
inorganic?
Is it fragrance, preservative, and red #40 free?
(contains no parabens, is that like a has-been?)

Can love be
recycled?
Is it eco...logical?
(sustainable and not tested on animals?)

Is love biodegradable, all natural
heart healthy and
best consumed in moderation?
(can it be remanufactured or resurfaced?)

Is being in love like "going green"
in vogue and running on solar power;
does it really reduce emissions?
(what about our dependence on oil?)

Does love begin as renewable energy
and end
as toxic waste?

(maybe love is)
contributing to global warming...

Ah, the question for the ages brought to 21st Century topicality. Brilliant and creative, Melissa...and the question is still open and begs the poetic answer.

Interesting point of view on love. Who knows? It could be all these things and more.

There's a thought. Ah well. It's too damn fun to give it up. Good write.
