These mental images, these pictures in my mind

From all of the experiences I have had,

And those yet to be discovered

Leave my thoughts so very far behind.

Sometimes I am happy, other times so sad.

Thousands of memory-pictures uncovered,

The observations that I hold in my mind's eye

Leave me with word-pictures I can see.

In this dream-like state, this is my imagination.

More important than any knowledge, I wonder why

I am forever left with this self-same fantasy.

This metaphor for my life, my re-incarnation.
